With this tour we’ll show you Vinci: birthplace of the “Genius of the Renaissance”

Leonardo was born in Vinci (25 miles west of Florence) on 1452; he spent there his childhood and adlolescence and Vinci still preserves the same urban and countryside landscape it had when the young genius started his investigation of the natural phenomena, and made his first hydraulic experiments in the small river of the town. This tour includes the visit to the Leonardiano Museum, the oldest collection dedicated entirely to his work as scientist, technologist and engineer, situated in the Castle of the Counts Guidi in Vinci; The Church of the Holy Cross, that is still preserving the baptismal font where Leonardo was baptized; Leonardo and His Paintings, set in Villa il Ferrale, a didactic exhibition that hosts full scale, HD reproductions of all Leonardo’s paintings; Leonardo’s birthplace, Anchiano, a small hamlet 2 Miles far from Vinci, it hosts the house where Leonardo was born, with an HD digital reproduction of Leonardo’s Last Supper.
