Your day-trip to Cinqueterre begins with a private car pick-up directly from your hotel in Florence.
The Cinque Terre is a rugged portion of coast on the Italian Riviera. It is in the region Liguria, in the northwest of Italy, to the west of the city of La Spezia, and comprises five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You’ll be driven straight to the village of Manarola where you’ll meet your private guide; Visit to the Church of San Lorenzo and a walk across the alleys that lead down to the small bay to catch the ferryboat to the village of Vernazza: with its beautyfull Piazza by the see, flanked with shops, restaurants (time for lunch), and the Church of Santa Margherita d’Antioca started in 1318; then by train to the village of Corniglia: on top of a hill in the right center of Cinqueterre with the most beautyful view on the costline, famous also for its gelato; visit to the Church of San Pietro; then, by train again, back to Manarola and drive back to Florence.
