Villa Borghese with its gallery and museum was built in the 17th century by the Cardinal Scipione Borghese. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful museums in Italy.
Among the treasures housed within it are many beautiful sculptures by the young Gianlorenzo Bernini and other Baroque masters, the famous sculputure of Paolina Borghese by Canova, as well as a rich collection of paintings by artists such as Raphael, Tiziano, and Caravaggio.
After the visit to the masterpieces of the Borghese Gallery, I will walk you through the magnificent surrounding park of the Villa Borghese with its beautiful vegetation, fountains, ponds, and pavilions.

I am not going to give you a lecture – unless you want to – I will be informative but we won’t overdo with too many dates and names, I will make your visit fun with anecdotes and legends, you’ll have time to enjoy a coffee or a gelato: I know you are here on holiday and and your holiday is meant to be enjoyable and fun!
