Half day Tivoli tour to visit to the fascinating remains of Emperor Hadrian’s villa, built in the early 2nd century as a retreat from Rome for the Emperor.
It was a complex of over thirty buildings, including palaces, thermae, a theates, temples, libraries, state rooms and quarters for praetorians and slaves, covering an area of at least one square kilometer. The different shapes and architectures are told to be inspired by the many trips the emperor had in various provinces of the Empire.

We are not going to give you a lecture – unless you want to – we will be informative but we won’t overdo with too many dates and names, we will make your visit fun with anecdotes and legends, you will have time for a coffee or an ice cream: we know you are here on holiday and your holiday is meant to be relaxing and fun!
